Areas of research/interest:My interests include further developing my dissertation subject, teacher expectations and teacher efficacy. Other areas of interest are literacy, brain research, multiple intelligences, gifted education and learning styles.
Best part of teaching at Wesleyan: Wesleyan is a special place where young women are given opportunities to develop and polish their leadership skills and to realize their potential as they prepare to compete in the global community. Being a graduate of a women’s college (Spelman) has given me a unique appreciation of the power and the importance of women’s colleges.
